German Volunteers in Uganda and Rwanda Gather for Evaluation Seminar at Rukararwe Eco Village

Five-Day Event Facilitates Reflection, Collaboration, and Cultural Exchange Among Volunteers.

In a collaborative effort to assess and enhance their impact on community development projects, volunteers from Germany have convened in Uganda and Rwanda for a five-day evaluation seminar held at the serene Rukararwe Eco Village in Bushenyi District.

The seminar, spanning from 14th to 19th February 2024, provides a vital platform for volunteers to reflect on their past initiatives, strategize for future endeavors, and exchange insights on best practices. With a focus on education, healthcare, environmental conservation, and sustainable development, participants engage in workshops and discussions aimed at maximizing their effectiveness in fostering positive change.

Rukararwe Eco Village, nestled amidst the picturesque landscapes of Bushenyi District, offers an ideal setting for this reflective seminar. Surrounded by nature’s tranquility, volunteers are encouraged to disconnect from their daily routines and immerse themselves fully in the evaluation process.

Throughout the event, attendees partake in a series of workshops, discussions, and interactive sessions led by experienced mentors and local experts. Topics range from project management and cultural sensitivity to sustainability and community engagement. The seminar also fosters meaningful collaborations among volunteers, facilitating the exchange of ideas and experiences for greater impact.
