On Friday, May 23rd, we hosted our second painting event at Rukararwe under the theme “Paint the Wild – through art we remember, through art we protect.” Once again, Rukararwe was filled with creativity, laughter, and inspiration.
Participants of all ages and backgrounds joined us, some picking up a paintbrush for the very first time, while others brought their experience and personal style. No matter their level, everyone created something beautiful. At the end of the day, the participants proudly took their paintings home.
Alongside painting, guests also made their own jewelry using handmade paper beads – a fun and creative craft that many enjoyed. There were also snacks and plenty of time to relax, talk, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Rukararwe.

We are so happy with the outcome and grateful for everyone who joined. The energy was full of joy, and it was a wonderful way to connect through creativity and nature.
We’re already looking forward to the next one! Keep an eye out for future events – you won’t want to miss them.
