Gender Based Violence, health and sanitation is an unspoken issue in many families, thats why we summoned the women group of Rukararwe to sensitize and enlight them on a one day seminar in Rukararwe
The aim of the seminar was to raise awareness of these issues and provide better support for affected women in the future. Our experts explained prevention strategies and how to protect themselves and seek help. This created a safe, supportive environment and provided knowledge that will help our women to be more self-determined about their health and safety in the future.
Together, we want to support women and girls to face life’s challenges with confidence and information. This seminar was a step in the right direction – we would like to thank everyone who took part.
